Course features:

  • Foundational reo Māori: Gain confidence in pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and everyday phrases tailored to early childhood settings.

  • Incorporating tikanga Māori: Learn how to embed cultural practices, including karakia (prayers), waiata (songs), and tikanga Māori into your daily routines such as meal time, sleep time, and transitions.

  • Interactive learning: Enjoy engaging activities, digital tools, and practical tasks to reinforce your language skills.

  • Task-based approach: Apply your learning directly to your teaching environment, with real-life scenarios and interactive roleplays.
