Te Reo Māori
Mini Units
At Poutawa, we ardently believe that cultivating a love for te reo Māori within ākonga hinges on offering them immersive, relevant, and exhilarating learning experiences. Such endeavors not only enhance their linguistic capabilities but also deepen their bond with the Māori language and its rich heritage.
It is with immense enthusiasm that we unveil our newest collection of educational resources. These materials emphasize a 'task-based' pedagogical approach, where students are intricately guided through a rewarding journey to accomplish delightful and stimulating tasks.
Mini Units
For Years 3 -13
Our meticulously crafted 'mini-units' are an ideal fit for those taking their initial steps into the world of te reo Māori. They equip educators with the tools to orchestrate compelling lessons, employing a diverse array of activities that holistically address every facet of language acquisition — from reading (pānui) and writing (tuhituhi), to listening (whakarongo) and speaking (kōrero), and even visual comprehension (mātakitaki) and presentation (whakaatu).
Join us in redefining the reo Māori educational landscape.
